Synopsis:
The documentary Lalas EUropa explores the impact of the euro crisis on the personal lives of a Greek, middle-class family living between Berlin and Athens. Three generations recall their anger against the governments during the first bailouts, their hopes during the 2015 referendum and the subsequent disillusionment and despair caused by the austerity policies imposed by the European Union. The film is structured as a European drama in three acts: Crisis, Hope, Despair.
